Gold Coast Hinterland

Tamborine Mountain just west of Nerang is broken into nine different National Parks and with beautiful picnic areas and a diverse range of wildlife it really makes for the perfect place to stop, have some lunch and enjoy the peacefulness and serenity.

Springbrook National Park which features Mount Cougal, Natural Bridge and Springbrook have some of the most picturesque walking trails around, and as you are driving through the ranges you will be privy to fabulous rainforest and views across the Gold Coast.

The Lamington National Park is another well known area of the Gold Coast Hinterland, that is home to some beautiful camp grounds, picnic areas and walking trails that can keep everyone occupied for the entire day.

The Gold Coast Hinterland Wine Trails is a great way to take in the sights of this amazing part of Queensland, where you get to taste test some of the region’s most sort after wines from places around Australia and overseas.

Located just a short drive from the Gold Coast hinterland, are all the main attractions and activities that the Gold Coast and surrounding suburbs have to offer as well. Such as all kinds of water sports, sky diving, fishing, boating, bungee jumping, sun drenched beaches and the three main theme parks that is a huge draw card for this area and a great hit with the kids, Wet ‘n’ Wild, SeaWorld and Dream World.

There are many quaint shopping villages scattered through the Gold Coast Hinterland where you can pick up a variety of pieces, from clothes through to arts and crafts. Then if you are looking for more extensive shopping to really get your wallet working there is Pacific Fair at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast which houses more than 230 retail outlets for you to browse through.
